From the beginning of the design process, our clients Natalie & Morgan loved the idea of creating a unique double-diamond ring. First, we started by looking at all the different shapes and sizes of stones, and they were quickly drawn to two pear stones. One pear was slightly more substantial than the other, creating a subtle asymmetrical look. Next, we methodically designed a setting with a tiny gap between the pears and a thick 14K yellow-gold band, integrating a unique band element. Lastly, we created three prongs for the setting that would securely hold each stone but cover only a tiny surface area. This resulted in a show stopping open band ring with the focal point of the two gorgeous pear stones.
