Shipping
Made to order collection pieces of are carefully hand-finished in NYC, please allow up to 3-4 weeks to receive pre-order designs. Please take note of production timelines on product pages. If you would like to request a rush order, please contact us at customerservice@sophieratner.com and we are happy to meet your needs. We keep a small selection of in stock and ready to ship items, that ship in 1-3 business days.
Engagement rings & wedding bands ship in 3 weeks, handcrafted to order. All engagement ring and wedding band shipments are insured and require a signature upon delivery. You are responsible for accepting delivery. Sophie Ratner is not liable for lost or delayed packages once shipped. If your order is returned due to failed delivery, you must pay for re-shipment. We will help track packages lost in transit, but we are not responsible once proof of delivery is provided. Please provide a secure shipping address.
Custom designs ship upon completion with specific delivery instructions with insurance per each customer.
International
International orders are responsible for their own return shipping. International customs duties are not always included in the shipping fee. The destination country's government may charge international orders customs fees, and these are not included in the shipping fee.
Returns
Necklaces, earrings, charms, and bracelets are returnable for store credit or exchange within 14 days of receiving your order. Collection rings can be resized for a small fee, or exchanged on a case by case basis. Pre-ordered items cannot be cancelled after they've entered the production phase. Special orders, exchanged items, engagement rings, wedding bands, and custom or engraved orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Repairs & Warranty
We are committed to the quality of our collections designs and offer complimentary repairs on any item damaged within one year of purchase. For items needing repair after one year, returns are accepted, and a fee may apply, depending on the type of repair. Customers pay for shipping both ways. Most repairs take 3-4 weeks. For care, avoid wearing pieces when using chemicals, doing strenuous activity, lifting heavy objects, or swimming.
For custom designs & engagement rings, every piece is handcrafted in NYC’s Diamond District by our master production team. As a trained bench jeweler, Sophie oversees every step to ensure each design is flawless.
Complimentary repairs and a one-year warranty cover any item damaged within a year of purchase. Repairs within a year are not covered if the damage is due to negligence, loss of pieces, improper storage, chemical exposure, or modifications by others. While replacements for center stones are not included, we will replace missing pave stones if reported within a year.
After one year, repairs may incur a fee. We offer cleaning, polishing, and maintenance for a subsidized fee to keep your jewelry looking its best. Customers cover shipping both ways. Most repairs take 2-4 weeks.
For care, avoid chemicals, working out & sleeping in jewelry, ultrasonic cleaners, and swimming. Because our jewelry is crafted for your everyday enjoyment, we kindly suggest considering independent insurance to protect against loss, theft, and accidental damage.
